The Boiler Inspector program is designed to prepare students for a career as a boiler inspector. A Certificate of Competency is required to be eligible to become a boiler inspector with most government and private agencies.

This course will also prepare students for entry level position in nondestructive testing which requires knowledge of inspecting boilers.

PREREQUISITES: Must have taken any of the following courses: Heating Plant Technician , Power Plant Technician I/II, Power Plant Technician III, or Power Plant Technician IV courses; Or have a High Pressure Boiler Operator license (current or expired); Or accepted experience recognized by city, state or federal government. Students must also be working in the field to be eligible to take this course
