Boiler Inspector

The Boiler Inspector program is designed to prepare students for a career as a boiler inspector. A Certificate of Competency is required to be eligible to become a boiler inspector with most government and private agencies. Completion of this course prepares
the student to begin a career in nondestructive testing that requires knowledge of inspecting boilers.
PREREQUISITES: Must have taken any of the following courses: Heating Plant Technician , Power Plant Technician I/II, Junior Power Plant Technician, or Senior Power Plant Technician courses; Or have a High Pressure Boiler Operator license (current or expired); Or accepted experience recognized by city, state or federal government. Students must also be working in the field to be eligible to take this course. |
